ENROLMENT
In Western Australia, children can start their education in Kindergarten, however, compulsory schooling starts the following year in Pre-primary.
You can find out what year your children need to start school with our school-age calculator.
All children of compulsory school age must be enrolled in school and attend every day – this is the law.
Every child from Pre-primary to Year 12 is guaranteed a place at their local public school. Places in Kindergarten may be limited at your local school, so we encourage you to apply now.

New enrolment applications are accepted on the basis of:
- Reside in intake area, with a sibling at the school
- Reside in intake area with no sibling
- Out of area but with a sibling already at the school
- Out of area with no sibling (if availability and approved by the Principal. )
