The boundary for this school is as follows:
From Eastern By-Pass Road at a point coinciding with the easterly extension of Millen Street, west from this point to and along Millen Street to Phoenix Place, northnorthwest along Phoenix Place to Boomerang Crescent, westsouthwest along Boomerang Crescent to Maxwell Street, northwest and north along Maxwell Street to Speculation Road, in a general westerly direction along Speculation Road to Meldrum Avenue, northnortheast along Meldrum Avenue to Charles Street, eastsoutheast along Charles Street to Cheetham Street, northeast along Cheetham Street to Wilson Street, south east along Wilson Street to Roberts Street, northeast along Roberts Street to the Eastern By-Pass Road, and southeast and south along the Eastern By-Pass Road to the easterly extension of Millen Street.

The boundary parts of Maxwell Street (east and northeast sides) and Wilson Street (southwest side), and the boundary streets of Millen Street (both sides), Speculation Road (north side), Meldrum Avenue (east side), Charles Street (south side), Boomerang Crescent (both sides) and the Eastern By-Pass Road (west side) are included within the area for South Kalgoorlie Primary School, while the boundary parts of Roberts Street (both sides), and the boundary streets of Cheetham Street (both sides) and Phoenix Place (both sides), are excluded from the area for South Kalgoorlie Primary School.

From the junction of Maxwell Street and Johnston Street, eastnortheast along Johnston Street to Phoenix Place, northnorthwest along Phoenix Place to Boomerang Crescent, westsouthwest along Boomerang Crescent to Maxwell Street and southsoutheast along Maxwell Street to Johnston Street. The boundary parts of Maxwell Street (both sides), Johnston Street (both sides) and the boundary street of Phoenix Place (both sides) are included within the optional area, while the boundary parts of Boomerang Crescent (both sides) are excluded from the optional area.
